Garmin - i5 StreetPilot Review

I love this GPS, it really helps me get where I am going and takes away a lot of stress, especially when out of town and driving on non-known streets and highways.  The voices are clear and you can change it to have a variety of accents which is always fun.  One of the best features on it includes a charger so you don't have to run off of battery time only.  And then also it calculates time for you so you know approximately when you will arrive at your destination.  Garmin makes solid and easy to use products so when I looked up GPS ratings on Consumer Reports and saw that this particular model was a Consumer Best Buy I went with it immediately and I have not been disappointed.  The screen is big enough that it does not block my vision within the car windows.  And I like that it can take me different ways to the same place either by highway or by back roads.  And the very best feature of this model is that it does not require subscription fees.  Instead, I can get updated maps and download them to the unit.  I did a lifetime membership and it cost little compared to the subscription fees I would pay out over a year.
