The Garmin c-550 has reduce a lot of stress in my life.  As a person who is leery of getting lost on many occasions I decided to give this GPS a try. The setup is simple, the mount is simple, the whole product is.  What better then turning something on and seeing two buttons too choose from?  That's all there are to start!

With traffic alert capabilities, blue tooth capabilities, text to speech selective voices that even iterate street names, as well as a decent MP3 player this is the GPS for most.  The speakers are stereo which is a rare find in the GPS community.  With a little ingenuity you can hook them into your car speakers VIA a  cassette adaptor or FM tuner.  ($20)

The system itself takes time to warm and has a hard time finding the satellite while warming, once its warmed up the satellite stays intact.  Have never found an area that didn't have reception.  (Have yet to test it in tunnels).  The price might be rough for some but do yourself a favor and get this one toy.  It will last you forever and you can trust a name like Garmin to be around for a long time.
