This item was great while it worked. Their tech servioce had us send it back after a long time on the phone. Sent us a refurbished model and it does not work right either. Maybe we just got unlucky. If I were going to buy one again I would check out many reviews for how lng the product worked well. One...

I did a lot of research before I decided on this brand and model-the Garmin Nuvi 880.  I had purchaed a Magellan for my college age daughter-slightly above entry level model.  She was happy with it, but for my needs I wanted a lot more features.  I wanted voice controls (speach recognition), so that I could use it when I needed hands free operation, points of interest and a subscription traffic service.  This has all that and more.  I got a free trial to MSN Direct, which I use when I am in the San Francisco Bay Area, which gives me local real-time traffic information.  This unti picks up...
