Garmin - Nuvi 750 Review

My husband wanted to purchase a GPS so we went to Best Buy.  The Garmin Nuvi was one of the more expensive versions - there were some that were in the $99 range and we paid around $250.

There were definitely features that drew us to this one though.  For one, the screen is large so there are no problems seeing it when driving.  Also, since you have to use the touch screen to enter in your locations, it's extra nice to have the large screen. 

I also really like that you don't have to pay a monthly fee for something so interactive. That was a huge plus.

When we began using it we realized the maps needed to updated.  You also get one free map update.  I went online to update it and after I began the update it said it was going to take 14 hours!!!  I figured after a few minutes of updating it would go down, but it actually went up to15 hours.  So I stopped.  We have a laptop with satellite internet, so I'm going to take it to my mom's with her desktop to complete the update. 

Other than that we really like it.
