I bought this GPS a full nine months after my husband asked me too. I guess he got tired of phone calls saying "uhm sweetie, how do I get home from ..." and "do you know what's wrong with the freeway, it's totally blocked up - should I get off". Okay - I don't sound tech-savvy, but I do know my way around technology. I just can't navigate myself out out of parking lot. While the Nuvi 660, won't get you out of the parking lot - it will get you where you are going. It uses actual street names, which is critical if you aren't the best at determining what 300 feet looks like. I love the fact that I can have my GPS use either the built in speaker or the car stereo speakers through the FM reciever. I put it on FM, listen to my favorite tunes on the built in MP3 player, and it pauses the music to give directions and immediately resumes the music. Such a nice feature. I also like to play my MP3s through the car stereo, because I can control the volume better - songs aren't all recorded at the same volume. Bluetooth is great with this model - no headset required. Beware if you have a LG VUE - some sort of strange conflict creates sporadic bluetooth issues. This isn't a new model, but it has a traffic receiver, recalculates for the best route automatically, and is an exceptionally useful device.
