It does have great features. It's easy to know when you need to turn and I like that you can look at a list of the directions as well as view the map--whichever works best for you. You can set the GPS to avoid highways or tolls or a number of other things. That was useful when I started driving and didn't want to use the interstate much. The only thing is that, once when we updated it, it became a little slow--but part of that was also that we moved to a place farther from town, which probably messed with the connection to the satellite. And it just recently started turning off randomly and I couldn't figure out if it was the car not charging it or if it was just turning off...but the battery didn't look dead. Something to keep in mind, but no one else had that problem, so I don't believe it was a real issue.
