Garmin is the best

a techie, somewhat tech savvy, computer literate

Pros

7 million points of interest, announces traffic congestion, can download contact list from phone, Can hear GPS thru your cars audio system, Bluetooth makes its easy, Bluetooth capacity, easy to use, allows you to look up restaurants, lets you drive without maps and papers

Cons

FM & traffic broadcast need power cord, Traffic info needs subscription, sometimes out of date, Cannot add multiple routes, expensive to add maps

Garmin - Nuvi 660 —

I have been using Garmin for 5 years now. Had few problems apart from that i really wonder how I travel without it. The satellight reception is good. It does not take long time for it to start. IT gives the street names which is very important for me. I had issues when the map were not updated, right now with maps updated I seldom have problems with it.
