The Garmin Nuvi 660 is a good GPS in the sense that it will provide you with all the information to get from point A to point B. Also, the user interface is fairly simple and easy to learn for all users. Now on the downside, one thing I was disappointed with, is the very lacking POI database. I like how you can search for a place (example, a grocery store) by city, or based on your current location. However, the database is too limited. I tested this out in my area and obvious big chain grocery stores were not listed. Also, if you veer of course, it takes a while for the GPS to recalculate a new route, allowing to make even more mistakes, which forces the GPS to recalculate yet again. Another point, if you're thinking of subscribing for the traffic, this feature is useless. When I bought my GPS, it came with several months free. This feature did nothing for me and I live in the San Francisco area. In times of traffic, no indicator was on my GPS. However at times the GPS would signal an obstruciton on the road, but there was nothing.
But these flaws are present on other GPS's as well, so overall, Garmin is one of the better ones I've seen. It will do its job.
