I just got this Garmin Nuvi 360 to replace my aging Garmin iQue 3600 and am very impressed! Very easy to set up and use, and has great features like working as a handsfree system with a Bluetooth phone, an MP3 player, and FM traffic receiver. It paired easily (almost automatically) with my Trea 700p,... review »

The Garmin-Nuvi is small and compact.  It comes wiht a carrying case and an attachment for your windshield.  It is very useful and only sent me on a wild goose chase once.  (We asked for local ice cream shops when we were traveling once in Miami and we ended up in a residental area with no shops of...

I bought the Nuvi 360 after shopping around a bit to find a great price.  Though expensive, it's a true stress reliever when you're on the road and wondering how long before that next turn.  Though I don't use the Bluetooth functionality that much, it does provide great sound quality the few times I've used it to make a phone call.  And this units compact size is worlds apart from the first generation of GPS portables.

So far, I've only written reviews about products I can't live without and the Garmin - Nuvi 360 GPS Device follows this trend. Since I was born without any sense of direction, I once relied solely on Mapquest and a co-pilot to take me to new locations. After being steered the wrong way more than once using mapquest, I finally decided to experience the world of GPS when I rented a car in California. From the start I was completely amazed. After a few strokes of the touch screen, where I simply put in the address of my destination, the Garmin took care of the rest. Easy to follow, clearly understood... review »

I am reviewing the Garmin Nuvi 360 GPS unit.  I absolutely love this unit.  I have taken it on multiple trips and it has saved me multiple times.  I have always been good with directions - but now I don't have to worry about it.  Points of Interest are easy to setup and there are so many places already installed on the unit that it's hard not to find the place you are looking for.  The bluetooth capability is awesome allowing you to hook up your bluetooth enabled cell phone to it.  Once connected, most of the POIs have a phone number which you called press Call and it will dial directly to... review »

The Garmin Nuvi is awesome. I don't know how I ever got around without it. I used to waste time driving around in circles when I was in an unfamiliary area...
  • It has helped me get out of an area that I was unfamiliar with;
  • it has helped me find stores closest to my current location;
  • with the traffic receiver, I was able to bypass traffic and get to my location quickly.
  • it gets me to my locations quickly, especially if I have to take detours
the bluetooth option is nice & works well, though I stopped using it because I don't always want my phone conversations to be on speakerphone, especially when...

I think this is the best automotive GPS on the market. It is very accurate and has kept me from becoming hopelessly lost on many occasions. Because it talks you can keep your eyes on the road as you drive, a major safety feature. It also shows the route on the screen, automatically changing at night. The screen display can be zoomed in or out depending on your needs. The speech functions are clear and you have a choice of voices and many languages to choose from. It is programmed to tell you in advance of the next action you must take. It is so small that you can take it with you when you... review »

The Garmin nuvi 660 has been a lifesaver to myself and my family! It is very easy to setup and use, it only took me a few minutes before we were on our way to our destination. I found that it is not necessary to attach it to the dashboard of your vehicle. You can plug it into the cig. lighter and never lose power. The Garmin easily recalculates if you take a detour. It is dependable, and comes Blue-tooth enabled, also has the option of using the FM receiver. This product can be found on amazon.com, watch for it on amazon's Gold Box Deals! This is one of the best investments I have made in the... review »

Previous to this, I had the Nuvi 350, which is also an excellent device. Since the function is identical in nearly every regard to the 350, there is little point in covering the basics in much depth, but it's worth re-stating some of them. I will go into great detail on the Bluetooth functionality below.

This is such a handy device, and is so well executed, that you would be hard-pressed not to love it. The first thing I noticed about the Nuvi was its incredibly small size and weight. I could not believe how light it was. I literally expected it to have at least twice the heft when I went to pick...

I had never owned a GPS unit before, but on a shuttle trip to the airport the driver had a Garmin unit, and I was surprised to find that even from a couple rows back I could still see the screen clearly. So I did a little research and got the Nuvi 360 for two reasons in particular: (1) it reads street names aloud, and (2) the Bluetooth connection to the phone (here in California, it's about to become state law that drivers must use a hands-free device with their cellphones, and I didn't have one).

It doesn't take long to learn that probably any GPS unit is going to have certain problems. For example,...

Garmin brand has been around for many years, and I have never had an issue with any of the models I have owned.  What many people don't think about is the safety that a Garmin unit  can provide. This Particular device can actually give you your latitude and longitude location so even if you are stuck way out in the middle of no where you can give exact pinpointed directions to emergency personnel to be able to find you.

Another great feature is the ability to remove it from it's mount in the vehicle take it inside and pre program all the places you wish to go in advance so your not worried...

I love cool gadgets - when my friends buy them - but usually hold off on the early adoption.  I like to be certain that what I'm buying isn't going to be buggy, and isn't going to lose its usefulness after a couple of weeks.  I am at week three with my Garmin Nuvi, and I'm still loving this little slice of miracle.  Let's consider what life was like before: I was dating a girl who lived 30 miles away in an area that I have no clue about - and got lost regularly.  I was going on sales calls and client meetings in a 30 mile radius, and was regularly either lost by using my internet directions,... review »

I love the idea of new technology but must admit that I'm not very good at figuring out complex products. So I am so grateful to the folks at Garmin for making such an easy-to-use GPS.  The touch screen on this GPS is fast and uncomplicated. Store your favorite addresses....like your home address....by touching the screen to get to "favorites". Easily enter your address (or addresses) by touching the screen to bring up the number and alphabet screens and spell out what you want to store in favorite places.  Then from anywhere you are, ask the GPS (via touching the screen again) to get you back...

Pros: Routing seems accurate, size is great, very portable, nice looking maps and routes, POIs I have searched for are available, is fully charged right out of the box! That's a first for me.

Cons: Having a few quirks with bluetooth, a lot of features I'll probably never use, expensive

Summary: For everyone who is asking, they are available at some retailers now. Just do a little searching and you'll find it. And, if nothing else, you can get it on eBay too.

I've had mine for a week and this is the first GPS unit I have ever owned or used, so I may not be as insightful as others could be. I did...

I purchased this Garmin Nuvi 360 in November 2008 so that my husband and I would have no problems finding the condo we had rented for our family 2008 Christmas vacation.  My husband had no problems using the GPS.  All he had to do was enter the address(es) of our vacation condo or any other location we wanted to go.  The voice prompt is loud enough to hear over music.  The screen size is small measuring approximately 3.5", but you can easily view the 2-D or 3-D maps.  The touchscreen and point of interest lookup are really good features.  There are several other features that we have not...

I do love my Garmin Nuvi 360 however, I have found a few problems.  Sometimes the route it takes you on just doesn't make sense.  Like the time it took us down a seasonal one lane dirt road on the quickest time setting.  Thankfully we weren't hauling the travel trailer at the time!!!!  That is the thing I mean about not relying on it completely.  If your common sense is telling you NO don't take that road then don't!!!  Keep on going and it will recalculate.  I do however, love that no matter where I am the garmin provides me with an instant access to all things in the area with address... review »
