Pros

dependable, Fits in your pocket or purse, Good navigation system, Easy to use, compact, FM Traffic receiver, Easy to install, Bluetooth Hands-free Phone, Choice of speaking voices

The Garmin Nuvi is awesome. I don't know how I ever got around without it. I used to waste time driving around in circles when I was in an unfamiliary area...

It has helped me get out of an area that I was unfamiliar with;
it has helped me find stores closest to my current location;
with the traffic receiver, I was able to bypass traffic and get to my location quickly.
it gets me to my locations quickly, especially if I have to take detours

the bluetooth option is nice & works well, though I stopped using it because I don't always want my phone conversations to be on speakerphone, especially when I have other people in my car.

It is small enough to carry in my purse all the time so even if I am in someone else's car, I can still use it.

It is great for finding things like the closest bank or drugstore or restaurant.
