I purchased this GPS for my wife for Christmas and it's been great for her. It speaks the name of the road as you approach, telling you to make a left or a right, so you don't have to always look at the screen. It's not the best I've seen as far as knowing routes and if you're familiar with an area it doesn't always take you the quickest or even easiest way. I've started using it a bit myself, and for my work it would be excellent to have the ablitly to add multiple points on a route. But for the money, it hasn't failed us yet. It's not the most expensive or cheapest, so it's really the perfect middle of the road GPS. The only real drawback is the battery life is poor. It needs to be in the charger most of the time, which can be a hassle if you also use the cigarette lighter for charging. My other complaint is it can take an extremely long time to acquire a satelittle, even when you are in a city, which is frustrating if you turn it on when lost. Again, it's a good product overall, without all the bells and whistles some of the devices have today.
