The Garmin Nuvi 350-GPS is a great tool which is compact and easy to use. It saves addresses in memory to avoid having to re-enter information. Optional prompting to let you know the turn is coming up.
One down side is it doesn't always "get it" that you don't want it to take you to the route it wants you to take. I like to store trips in memory because I tend to daydream and could easily forget a turn, the prompting helps remind me. As over time it may learn the route, it is not always the case so you just have to be aware of how you actually want to use the device.
I purchased a traffic receiver to add on--pricy item--but wasn't aware that the trafficdevice is only helpful in bigger cities. Now I am skeptical of even purchasing the upgraded maps for 2009 since I don't know if it's actually worth the investment.
