Garmin - Nuvi 350 Review

The Garmin nuvi 350 is a very handy compact travel accessory.  What is especially nice is that you can easily carry it with you.  The worst aspect is the standard mount that comes with the unit.  After first using it, we immediately purchased the "bean bag" type mount which really works well and enables you to move the unit to either the dash or console.  For people who use more than one vehicle, you can easily transfer the nuvi 350 between cars.

We gave the nuvi 350 the ultimate test by driving to Washington D.C. and its Virginia suburbs where you had to navigate around and across some major highways.  Unfamiliar city and night driving are not a good combination.  It did a very nice job.  We quickly came to the realization that if we had to do it the old fashioned way with a map at night it definitely would not have been as easy.

Overall, I would give this unit a thumbs up!
