Garmin - Nuvi 265wt Reviews

The Garmin Nuvi 265WT is the best thing since apple pie. I travel a lot and get lost more with those online maps than I can shake a stick at. Samantha(that's my garmin's name), gets me where I'm going with no problem. She even gives me short cuts that I never knew about. The bluetooth capability is also awesome. I don't have to wear that ear piece anymore. All I can say is that this is the GPS system for me!!!!  LOVE IT!!!

 have owned quite a few GPS units all including Phone, Laptop and Dedicated. Flat out before I even get started the Garmin Nuvi 265WT is the best I have ever owned. Let me just make a couple of comments on the most important features.

Touch Screen Interface
Very intuitive and easy to use. Touch screen is responsive but not instantaneous. What I particularly like is the ability to switch to a top down view by touching the screen. Once done you can use your finger to drag the map around at any zoom point. Once done you can hit the back button and resume your 3D view.

I had been hovering over the GPS display at Target each time we visited, until my dear husband finally told me to just go ahead and get one. After researching different brands online, I finally settled on the Garmin - Nuvi 265wt GPS. It was easy to figure out, and had some fantastic features. Upon buying it, I was allowed a free 2010 map update from Garmin.com, which was simple to download. This unit has free traffic information, and bluetooth phone compatibility-which I love. No more earpieces or pulling off the road to talk to  my family or friends on the cell phone!  I already have a list...

My boyfriend bought the Garmin Nuvi 265wt for me when I moved to New Hampshire.  It is such a wonderful tool to have with you in the car!  I was very unfalmier with the area, and still am in parts.  I never leave home without my gps!  It is very easy to use, you can set it to your personal prefrences as well.  I also love the bluetooth feature that it has so I can link it to my cell phone and talk hands free through the gps.  I have never gotten lost!  There are only a few things about it that i don't like, but I think it would go for any gps.  When I don't take a turn it suggests it tries...

I just bought this gadget not too long ago, and I love it.  I love all the new features like: Using Garmin's unique Web site I can choose from millions of geo-located photos provided by Google's Panoramio photo sharing community and download them to the nüvi for a richer navigation experience using pictures as a guide.

The Garmin Nuvi 265wt is fantastic.  I've had mine for about a month and have tried several times to confuse it but it always recalculates the route and gets me there.  The maps are accurate and I've used it literally "in the middle of nowhere" and found great reception and perfect directions.  The traffic feature (additional monthly fee) is great and if I had to commute in a high traffic area, I would gladly pay the fee.  The display is crystal clear and you can also get on the Garmin web site and download different pictures and voices to change up the display.  I really like the search features...
