Garmin - Nuvi 255 Review

I like my Garmin Nuvi 255, we borrowed one from a friends to help us find a venue in the town we live in, we'd never been there before and had to be there at a certain time. Since then, we've purchased one for our family, and use it in all vehicles. It has helped us out time and time again - locally (I'm very good at getting lost around town - it's a big city), this always helps me find my way, and if all else fails, I can click my faves. and 'Home' and get home from whereever I am.

The only thing I found annoying was sometimes the quickest route is not the quickest route. It seems to take you the 'easiest' way - not the quickest. But when you're trying to find your way somewhere completely foreign to you, 'quickest' doesnt always matter. I would recommend this to friends and family, in fact I have. Easy to use - self explainatory really, even the kids can operate it. I also did find turning the voice off was nicer for me, it was annoying to hear that voice chirping out every 2 seconds with a turn coming up, or going straight ... I was lost - not an idiot. All up, a satisfactory product.
