Garmin - Nuvi 250 —

The Nuvi 250 is a good little unit since it is slim and light and easy to work right out of the box.  There are many different voices that you can use as well as vehicles so it is fun for my kids to watch also.  I bought it on a trip to CO and it worked great.  I found the places I wanted to go with no problems.

You do have to watch where it tells you to turn occasionally.  I was on top of a mountain in CO and it told me to turn left on the dirt road (there was no road, I would have been driving off the mountain) as well as told me to stay on a road that thankfully I was familiar with since I was directed at the last minute to take an exit that had a medians in between the road I was on and the exit I was supposed to go on.  The last "issue" was it couldn't find a street near my house that I was looking up by an address, so I had to mapquest it instead.  When I drove to the address, I took along my GPS to see what road it said I was on.  It was the same road I was looking up, so I'm not sure what is going on there.  I know that it will not find EVERYTHING, but I was shocked that it told me the street name I looked up but when I was searching for it I was told, "No known street name".
