It's very affordable, yet limited.

I've been having the Nuvi200 GPS for awhile now. I got it as a gift. It's been a very nice addition to my car and it does a great job pinpointing my positions and directing me to my targets. It's very affordable, as it runs for ~$150 and it's a must for someone who's looking for a GPS or a gift. However, the Garmin policy on updating maps is that the customer, if they don't benefit from the first after the activation month free update, will have to purchase their new map version for ~$60! Very exorbitant and overpriced compared to the unit itself. Also, most of the Garmin GPS's are being discontinued.
