I have tried Magellan, Tom Tom and was disappointed with both. Tom Tom couldn't even locate the store I purchased it from inside their parking lot, and this store has been there for over 6 years. The wide screen is well lit and easy to see. Touch screen is accurate. So far I haven't been able to enter anyplace it couldn't find. I like being able to upload mp3 to internal memory or sd cards. I received this item for Christmas. It is one of the best presents I have ever had. I love the ease of use and the ability to store pictures and songs. Nice but tough to use in Chicago.

This has worked great for the suburbs of Chicago and on a trip to Indianapolis. However, I have tried to use it for several job interviews in downtown Chicago and it has repeatedly told me "unable to acquire satellite". This is a great device but it does not dim down when connected to power cord the audio is not loud enough the mounting system doesn't work so well.
