These solar powered yard lights were a bit pricey in my opinion but they are very cute and practical. I love adding things to my yard to give it my own personality and these are much better than the boring stake style solar lights that many people have in the yards. I bought a few of these, along with some cheaper solar lights, for our back yard after getting our dog. He is a black lab and disappears into the night when letting him out to go to the bathroom. These lights help provide enough light to be able to see where is he and what he is doing (make sure he is not digging) outside at night. These owl lights recharge well during the day with regular sunlight and remain lit for the entire night. We have had them for about seven months now and they still hold a charge pretty good. They do have an on/off switch as well if you want to leave them off certain nights and save the battery energy. They are lightweight enough to easily move about the yard but not so much that they will blow over or away.

I got this Garden Oasis Owl with Solar Spotlight Eyes as a tribute to my grandmother who absolutely loved owls. At first glance, I thought his eyes were oddly large, but when I saw them illuminate with the setting sun, it all made sense. This nocturnal friend soaks in the sun's rays all day long then emits a soft yet powerful glow during the night. I have fallen in love with this whimsical little creature for a number of reasons. We ourselves are not pet owners, but many neighborhood cats seem to love our backyard, especially digging up my attempts are vegetable gardening. This little would-be predator has done a great job of scaring the cats away. The size is perfect, making him portable and easy to move while still serving as an effective light. We have tons of rain and high winds where we live, so I was afraid that my new friend would be blown off the table and smashed at the first wind. Surprisingly, he is quite sturdy and has not moved and inch. Since I keep him, yes him, in direct sunlight to recharge his battery, I worried about fading, but he still looks just as cute and colorful as the day I bought him. Everyone who comes over comments on how cute he is...little did I know how hip he would be with the current trends of owls.

I bought this garden light along with the squirrel version for our back patio. I thought the lights would work great for providing some extra light in the back of the house. I was right, they providing the perfect amount of light to see, but not so much as to be blinding or garish. I do have a complaint about how well they have held up looks wise. I know that part of the problem is that I like on the water. The salt air will eventually destroy everything here. These little guys didn't holdup at all though, which is rather disappointing. I've left them out there since I bought them for the lights and they still work. However when you look at them during the day, they just look pretty sad like they have definitely seen some better days. To have the option to go back and do it again I would probably not have purchased either of them and gone for something that I know would hold up better.

I love this solar owl. I also love to sit out on my patio at night however it is not very bright out there so I am always looking for ways to add some natural solar energy lights. I thought this owl was adorable and his eyes light up the patio. He has a solar panel on the top of his head that generates the LED batteries that light up his eyes. The eyes light up and give off a good amount of light. The owl is weatherproof and can be left outside at all times. He is made of a resin type plastic substance that holds up to the elements. His eyes light up as soon as it starts getting dark and turn off during the day when it is light out. He is reasonably priced and so far has last a long time. I brought him in when it started to get cold out as I am not sure how he would withstand the freezing cold temperatures. He is really cute and adds a great look to a patio or a deck or porch. If you want some added light at night , try this solar owl , he is really cute and does a great job.

What a cute addition to add not only practicality but decoration to any indoor or outdoor area. This little guy is very durable, very sturdy and tolerates winds and rains very well. I have one sitting beside my back entrance and he lights up the walkway very well. I have another one sitting in my garden area. I love how he is bright enough to add lighting to my plants after dark. It makes my little garden area look professional. This owl will even recharge the batteries on a cloudy day. The owl I have put inside in my hallway is used as a nightlight when I have guests over. It gives them plenty of light to see when walking down the hall. I just take him outside during the day to recharge his batteries. No matter where I place him, he is always a great conversation piece and the perfect addition to adding some uniqueness to any setting. I live in an area there the temperatures can reach over the triple digits. The colors have never faded. It is a definite good investment to any area.

Owls have made a trendy statement lately and have been popping up everywhere! I love these cute whimsical owl things and couldn't resist sprucing up my outdoor deck with this cute little owl! It's very sturdy and won't blow away in the wind and looks high quality. I have received numerous compliments from guests on this particular decoration! It's also very weatherproof which is great in a climate with high and low or varying temperatures and even rain and wind. The color doesn't fade at all over the past few months that I have owned this owl! I absolutely love how this owl has solar eyes. During the day they absorb the sun light and are powered by this to allow the owl's eyes to glow throughout the night which is adorable! I love how brightly the eyes shine and light up the space around my deck! I would highly recommend this owl decoration for anyone who loves the current owl trend and wants to add a touch of whimsy to their outdoor garden or living space.

I have spent years working in the yard to get it to where it is now. I love decorating the inside of my house and feel that a person's yard reflects the families personality. When I saw the Garden Oasis Owl online I knew this would draw attention to all the hard work i have done on the yard. When it arrived I was even more impressed with how unique it looks. I placed it on a large tree stump that sits in the middle of a flower bed and at night is where the magic begins. It looks beautiful, the eyes are super bright, and there's no way it won't grab the attention of family and friends when approaching the house or riding by. I like that there's an on and off switch to control the light, and the solar panel is hidden on the top of the head. The size is fairly large so it won't go unnoticed. It adds that extra flare to my home. I've considered purchasing another one to add to the deck, because of the eye catching glowing eyes. Beautiful accent piece that's well worth the money!

I received the Garden Oasis Owl with Solar Spotlight Eyes as a gift and it has become an intricate piece in my backyard. This owl is much bigger than I expected but that's a good thing because the LED eyes deliver enough light to illuminate a large area without being too overpowering. I now have two of these owl spotlights set up at opposite ends of my yard to provide adequate lighting when I take my dog out at night. I no longer have to worry about stepping in to something unpleasant and it makes clean up really easy. I was drawn to this spotlight because it is powered by solar energy and I was even more on board when I realized that it holds a charge for 8 hours. This light comes on every evening about 15 minutes before the sun completely sets. I would definitely recommend the Garden Oasis Owl with Solar Spotlight Eyes because it is a nice decorative piece that also provides a useful service.

I love owls (who doesn't?), and I was looking for some new decorations and accents for my front porch. I spotted this little guy and knew that I had to have him. I set him on a little outdoor accent table just as you come up my patio and he illuminates the walkway. I was actually quite shocked at how much light the eyes gave off. I was expecting it to be more of just an accent piece and not very functional, but I really enjoy the extra bit of light as I am coming up my sidewalk. This owl is made of a durable material, however I would not recommend leaving it outside in the cold winter months. I am afraid that the wind may knock him over or that the ice and snow may cause breakage or damage to the solar panels, so I chose to take it inside and store it for the winter. You will need to place this owl somewhere where the light can hit the solar panels during the day. It will need a well lit area in order to keep the eyes glowing in the evening. I would recommend this solar light to anyone who is an owl lover or to anyone who may just be looking for a unique way to subtly light up a small outdoor space.

This little owl is simply adorable! I originally purchased him to go in my garden but he looked incredibly strange glowing out there in the middle of the night so I ended up putting him by the back door of the house. His little eyes really do light up beautifully. Even on cloudier days he still gets enough power to glow. On bright, sunny days his eyes light up beautifully and are nice and bright. They're actually bright enough to illuminate the walkway immediately around the door and have been a nice surprise when I got home late and forgot to turn on the outside light. I only use this little guy outside in milder weather. I make sure to bring him inside in the winter so he is not damaged by the cold temperatures and snow. He has held up quite well for several seasons now so he was definitely well made and durable. Overall, this is a great addition to any patio or deck for fellow owl lovers!
