I cannot say enough good things about this umbrella! First off I love at the umbrellas part of it is offset from the base. This is great because it allows you to get the full benefit of the umbrella and shade without having to gather around the pole in the middle like almost all other umbrellas out there. It sucks when you have to crowd around and be all crunch up in the middle. The other great part is that because it is offset on the pool there are extra joints, and it maneuvers around into way more positions than any other standard umbrella. This is awesome for when you are outside all day like we are but don't necessarily want to be in the sun all day. As the sun moves across the sky this umbrella will continue to block it as you move it. So far it has held up incredibly well on back patio which is saying a ton! I live on the water, and having salt water as your back yard means nothing is going to last, ever. Everything corrodes faster here. Things like this that are designed to move usually freeze up and that's that. The canvas usually fades and grows weak and tears. This umbrellas hasn't done any of these things yet! So here's hoping it continues to impress!

I, unfortunately, purchased this umbrella instead of just getting a gazebo and I've been disappointed since. This was a gigantic pain to assemble. It requires at least two people and you have to have it exactly where you want it before you add the sand to the base since you are basically never able to move it again. This was the feature that I disliked the most - not being able to move this. Another huge problem is the base. It's just stuck out there on the side and creates a giant tripping hazard for children and adults alike. There have been several accidents since I put this up, thankfully none serious. The umbrella does provide a decent amount of shade for two or three people but certainly not for an entire family. Overall, I really cannot recommend this quite pricey item. It just is not worth all the trouble of assembly and having a giant tripping hazard to gain a few square feet of shade.

Not only is this a high quality outdoor umbrella but it looks really great over our patio set in the backyard. Our dining area gets a lot of direct sunlight and this umbrella has helped to turn it into a very relaxing and enjoyable area. I've own other outdoor patio umbrellas before and this one is definitely the nicest of them all. I did check it out in the store before I purchased it online so I knew what I was getting. I highly recommend anybody making such a purchase should do the same. This one was pretty easy for the two of us to put together. From past experience, I know that is not always the case.You definitely don't want to try to assemble it yourself. Where we have it in the backyard, we don't have much wind due to the surrounding trees. But we still weighed it down with around 200 pounds of sand. I am happy we did this because I do see it swaying and turning a little when it does catch a breeze. Overall I am quite happy with this purchase. I find this patio umbrella to be stylish and well made.

My husband and I were looking for something to cover our patio table because our porch overhang is kind of small. We were so happy when we found this umbrella because it was on sale and the reviews were amazing! I am very pleased with the outcome of this umbrella so far. It was really easy to set and it keeps the entire table in the shade, so we are able to enjoy our lunch outdoors, but still stay out of the hot and scorching Florida sun. The color of the umbrella is very neutral so we did not have to worry about it matching the furniture we had already purchased for outdoors. We have had this umbrella for about a year and so far, we have had no issues whatsoever. It has stayed set up and perfect for the entire time. We take it down (and it is super easy to do so) when it is cold and store it. The umbrella part is made of really strong fabric, so I do not have to worry about it ripping or coming apart any time soon. This is definitely a product that I would recommend in addition to your patio furniture.

At some point last year I was seriously considering getting an awning added on to our home. After much research, I decided I'd be better off getting something smaller, simpler and less expensive. Garden Oasis Brand seemed to be the best fit for us at the time. It was incredibly easy to assemble. However, you will need to make sure you put it where you want to park it prior to adding the sand. This model can hold up to 4 full bags of sand - and can weigh in at 200 plus pounds easily. There are several things you need to know about it to ensure you've done it correctly. You'll need someone to help you stand it up to ensure you lock the bottom in place correctly. The handle should point upward not downward. If you do it wrong, any little breeze will make it glide all over the place. The mechanism has to be locked in place or you will certainly be irritated by it's ever moving stem. The umbrella itself seems very wide. It is made of high quality material and it will even hold up quite well for some of the lighter spring showers. The base itself is quite a bit too wide for my liking. I understand why it is tat way I just wish it was thicker instead of wider. As far as moving it when the summer season ends, that is the true pain. I literally detach the stem and leave the base outside. I would suggest covering it up with a plastic bag because it will help protect against the weather. It's too much for me to lug around 200 pounds of sand. It is a lot less expensive than an awning and it can be moved to different areas rather tan being permanently attached to our home but, it's heavy and if you don't put it together exactly as it is supposed to be - you will experience a lot of problems with any slight breeze moving it all around.

I fell in love with this Garden Oasis 11.5 foot Steel Round Offset Umbrella with Base the first time I saw it. I knew it was something i had to have despite the cost being pretty high. the 360 degree swivel near the base gives me all the maneuverability I could ever want. I have never had an issue with placing the umbrella in an area where I needed protection from the sun. I have never had an issue with molding. I found the entire unit easy to assemble, take down and move from place to place. I was amazed by the versatility of this umbrella. Buying this umbrella has eliminated the issue I had of wanting to sit in certain areas of my back garden or lawn and not being able to have shade. I haven't seen any signs of corrosion like one would normally see on patio furniture as time goes by. The tilting feature on the umbrella works great. I love the Velcro tabs along the edge of the umbrella top. They are strong and hold lights securely.

This is an absolutely stunning addition to our patio set. I love this umbrella. I have always hated the umbrellas that come up through the middle of the picnic table. When I found this umbrella, I knew I had to have it. I placed it behind our patio sofa and it provides the perfect amount of shade. It is easy to put together and simple to fold up and down. I really like the material that the umbrella is made of. I was worried about mildew because the color that I purchased is very light. However, I have had no issues whatsoever with discoloration or mildew stains. The tag states that the fabric is mildew resistant and resists fading, and I can attest to this. The only reason that I can not give this umbrella a full score of 10 is because of the cost. This is a pretty pricy add on to your patio furniture, but it is worth it if you are in need of shade and are not on a tight budget.
