Game Wave Entertainment System: Well...this game system is considerably less complicated than the Wii or 360. It's concepts are simple, yet challenging & entertaining (of course since it's in the title!). =) Anyway, my family & friends have enjoyed playing  WordZap & mostly 4 degrees Trivia. Great effects for the trivia game, w/ loud clear asking of questions with a slight twist in the middle of the game. My60 yr. old father really enjoyed it because the buttons were clear & their weren't too many buttons to keep track of at one time. it all just made sense & was good clean fun. thanks! We also got the game Sodoku. I like it, but not that much. i'd rather do sodoku on paper...plus there aren't many people i hang out with that like sodoku! so that game is a slight waste.

I resently bought the Game Wave Family Entertainment system. It was very easy to connect it to my TV. This came with 4 remotes and one game. My family had a great time playing with it. The Game Wave has several games. We now own three. The entire family has a great time playing the Game Wave. This is great for kids because there are no games that some parents would find damaging to younger kids. Everyone had a good time and we all leaned a few things.

I recieive my Game Wave system in the mail on Monday and surprised my children aged 8,13 and 15 with it after dinner and they were so excited because usually we cannot all play a game system game together despite having a Wii and an XBox 360 we have to all go seperate. My husband hooked up the system-and just like that we were hooked!! The System also doubling as a DVD player had my husband thrilled and makes the system an evn better value and he was so excited to discover that ALL SIX remotes function as DVD remotes! We played the game 4 degrees trivia an had the most fun that we had had in a LONG time! One of the greatest features of the system is that it has an instruction option that plays a guide on how to play the games in like a 5 minute video in ways that are really easy to understand which is far superior to one person reading written instructions and then trying to explain how to play the game to everyone else.The game itself is fun and stores the answers you have already had so you dont get the same questions again (very smart). We really enjoyed ourselves and CANNOT wait to get some more games! So in Short I would reccomend this system to anyone who wants a good night of family fun!

The Gamewave Zapit Entertainment Console is a fun, family oriented gaming system. It is almost like playing a board game, only you don't have all the pieces. The only drawback, is the very limited game selections and the games are on a repeat cycle...once you play it a few times, you know all the answers.

We purchased the Game Wave system and games several months ago.  We like the fact that the console is a plug and play system.  When we got it home we opened it up and plugged it in.  We put in the first CD (game) and waited for it to load.  And waited.  And waited.  (You get the point.)  After seven or eight minutes the game finally loaded.  I was disappointed becuase we expected something more high tech, not something that could contend with a floppy disk from the 1980's.  We tried five different games.  All of them were so very slow to load.  We did find one game that was similar to "Boggle" that we enjoyed.  As a matter of fact, the "Boggle" game is the only one we play.  The trivia games are slow and not very interactive, and it's the same with the "game show" games.  Game Wave would be a great system for older folks, that are not too computer savvy, but it is not good for tech families.  If it had better graphics and was faster it would be an improvement.

I became aware of the Zap It Game Wave through Bzz Agent, which gave agents an opportunity to get a game console and games at a reduced price.  My first console did not work.  It would not come on or anything.  So, I called the company and was promptly sent a replacement. Well, the second worked and my adult son and I played it often when it was new. So, then I went online and bought a couple new games.  They weren't really any different then the games that I already have.  New questions, maybe a little bit different format, but basically the same few games over and over and over again.  At Christmas, when the family came over, we all played.  It was nice because with multiple wireless controller, several can play at once, and the game content is appropriate for a mixed crowd without embarrassment.  So from 8 to 80 we all played a game that the name escapes me, but it really reminded my mother of wheel of fortune, and we all had a good time.  My sister in law even had me order one for my nephew for his birthday.

I own this game system along with 7 of the games. They are so much fun for everyone. We spend more time together just having fun; even the kids and grandkids love to join in the fun when they visit. Many of these games are educational as well as fun. I have had an occasional problem with the game "freezing" but that has been rare. One game uses the term, "you suck" which I don't feel is family oriented although I know it's a commonly used expression today. I would recommend this game system to anyone - whether you have children or not.
