We bought this fan last month because our A/C had stopped working.  It was very inexpensive but has a lot of good attributes.  The Galaxy oscillating fan has a very stable base, which is important because we have two little ones running around.  I like the fact that it has 3 levels of air flow and can also be lifted or lowered to where I need the air to go.  It does take up more space than the tower spacesaver fans, but it does the job and cools the air just fine.  No remote, just manual, but we like it that way.

I have a Galaxy Ocilating Fan in every room in my house!  They make almost no noise, they are easy to clean, the price is great, and even on the lowest setting I can actually feel the air!  I keep my fans on constantly.  It helps circulate the air so well, my utility bill have actually dropped!  As much as I run them, each fan last me about a year.

I bought this fan at the beginning of the summer this year. I saw the Lasko fan at Home Depot, but I didn't think it was worth $15.99, or I would have bought it. I went to Wal-Mart one night, and I saw the Galaxy version for $13.88, so I bought it. The only reason I gave it four stars is because the plastic grille keeps falling off.

This fan is great.  Keeps me cool. It helps circulate the air. I liked it so much I had to get 2 more for the house and 1 for the garage. I have to sleep with a fan at night (regardless of the season) and with the high, medium, and low settings on there it is easy for me to adjust when necessary.

I bought the Galaxy oscillating 16 inch fan a couple of months ago and in few days later I turned it on and I heard a wird noise I turned and looked at the fan and it was broke. Plastic fans are really not that good they do not last very long.
