I have been in the place of expanding my horizons with laundry detergents, instead of always choosing the ones that I am familiar with. I honestly have never been a GAIN user and always was under the impression that the great smell just glossed over the fact that it sucked at actually cleaning my clothing. Wrong, wrong, wrong! The particular GAIN product did a fabulous job cleaning my clothing on top of the great smell. Performance This product does an excellent job of cleaning out any stain, old and new and it does so with the first wash. It does not leave my clothing sticky with residue and can be used in any temperature water. I highly recommend using this product. Scent The scent is another bonus of this product. I absolutely love the scent of this product, as I was thinking that because it had baking soda in it, I would not get the same great fragrance. It is an even better fragrance because of the baking soda.

I purchased Gain with Baking Soda Liquid Laundry Detergent a while back because I had a coupon. The product worked surprisingly well for its cheap price. My clothes felt as soft and clean as when I use my favorite detergent. The only downfall to this product is the scent. Many people may like it, but for me it is too strong of a floral/fruit scent. The smell lingers on clothing after it is washed which I am not a fan of. Performance This product works very well at getting clothing clean. After my husband and I were done with yard work I put our grass stained and dirt covered clothes in the washer and used this detergent. It removed all the stains and dirt from our clothing and left it feeling soft and clean. I believe this is because of the baking soda that is included in this detergent. Scent I am not a huge fan of this scent. It is quite strong and it lingers on clothing after it is washed and dried.

One laundry detergent I have always liked is Gain and the main reason is the scent. It is much more memorable and pronounced than the scent of other detergents and it leaves a lasting impression that lasts long after the laundry is cleaned and dried. This one takes the familiar, likeable detergent many of us grew up with and adds baking soda for additional cleaning power and freshness. Gain with Baking Soda Liquid Laundry Detergent is certainly a freshly scented detergent and among its qualities, the scent is what many will remember best. It remains on clothing for a long time and you can smell the scent all day on the clothes you wear. But this particular Gain product is more than just a nice scent. It is also a very good cleaner and it takes the already good stain fighting and cleaning ability of regular Gain a step further through the addition of baking soda. We all know that baking soda is a useful cleaning agent and it does seem to make a difference with this product. Some of it may be psychological, but I do feel like the clothing is cleaner than usual when baking soda is part of the process. Gain with Baking Soda Liquid Laundry Detergent is good for all types of clothing, but like with regular Gain, the scent could be too much for some and it may not be suitable for those with sensitive skin. If you have sensitive skin or if you have young children, a product like this could cause problems. It could lead to skin irritation, so keep this in mind before you buy. I have used every Gain detergent available and I find this one just as good as any. I don't use it all the time because I find that the scent that Gain leaves on clothing is sometimes too much and more than my senses can bear. But this is still a very good laundry detergent and it earns an easy recommendation from me.

Gain I love this detergent it works very well and is one of my two favorites,the smell is long lasting. beside tide this is the only other detegent I would even consider, It is very good at common stains. Good presoaker too. The smell is long lasting week or more. It is good on all clothing, remove pet smell very well, and leaves a whole bedroom with a nice smell. Removes food good however dark stains will require presoaking especialy chocolate ice cream. Not quite as good as tide but a reliable stand by. My oldest daughter love this brand and still uses it today as an adult. She argues its better, I dont think so. how ever it dose have a better scent to me than tide. It is noot good at removing grease either, and dose not touch makeup. I guess in the long run its better than nothing, you'll have to decide. I like it as a stand in for tide sometimes for a change. It will clean with some pretreatment and common scence.

I've always added baking soda in with my laundry, so when I saw this I just had to try it! I've always LOVED the smell of gain! Can't get any better, I've tried others, but always go back. When you go Gain, you just know!

This is my favorite detergent of all time.  I love all Gain products.  Other detergents don't always remove stains and odors the first time, but, Gain never fails.  Coupons and sales are usually available at my local shopping centers, so, I am able to get good pricing on these products.  Definitely give Gain a try.  They make fabric softener and dryer sheets to coordinate.

Nothing works or smells like Ultra Gain w/ Baking Soda Detergent.  Clean, fresh smelling clothes are extremely important to me.  I work in the food and beverage industry, either in the kitchen or as a server.  In both cases, I come out of there smelling like everything, including the kitchen sink and wearing various splashes and splatters.  All of which are difficult to remove with just any old detergent.  Lucky for me, along came Ultra Gain w/ Baking Soda.  Now, I have no worries when it comes to my clothes looking and smelling wonderful.  The funny thing is that the scent is so familiar that I recognize it when I am standing next to someone else who uses it.  Talk about a way to start a conversation with a stranger on the elevator.  I have and would recommen Ultra Gain w/ Baking Soda Detergent to any and everyone who wants to knowhow to have the cleanest, best smelling clothes around.  There is no other.

Gain laundry detergent with baking soda is an awesome product. It works so well, I do not even have to add a scoop of OxyClean to my wash loads. I reccomended this product to my sister and she loves it! I will never switch back to any other laundry detergents!

There are so many laundry detergents, that I typically purchase what is on sale, however when I read **Ultra Gain with Baking Soda Laundry Detergent** gets your clothes whiter, I had to try it.  The detergent contains baking soda to give your clothes a whiter shine and it truly works.  I was so happy it kept the color of my clothes and made them look clean and crisp.  What I love even more is the fresh scent.  The scent is just the perfect sweetness and a hint of citrus to make your clothes feel clean and renewed.  This detergents washes out completely without a residue and really makes your whites sparkle with a clean scent.
