I usually use a lot of the gain products from the pods to the dryer sheets I bought the softener to use also but this time.e it was really watered down and the scent was not as strong as usual.

On performance this fabric softener delivered. My clothes were softer, more pliable, and there was absolutely no residue left behind on my clothes. However, the scent failed to impress me. It had a too sweet tone to it. Performance I live in the Midwest and this winter my furnace is running constantly. Now I literally have static cling on every load of laundry I do. This has worked amazingly well at keeping my clothes soft and pliable and most importantly not all balled up together in the dryer. What I also liked about this softener is it left behind no residue behind on the clothes. I only wish the scent was better. Scent I love to have my clothes smell wonderful after I take them out of the dryer. Fabric Softener should do that for you. As I mentioned above this fabric softener worked wonders on my static cling and softened my new set of hand towels beautifully. Where I was a little disappointed was in the scent. The scent here reminds me of a bathroom spray, a pleasant bathroom spray, but a bathroom spray nonetheless. Not that I would have wanted the scent to last, but by the time the clothes went into my closet, I could no longer detect a scent on them.

Gain Ultra Island Fresh Fabric Softener out performs some of the pricier brands of fabric softener. In general I think the Gain brand out performs all other laundry products. And the fabric softener is no exception. My clothes have never been softer. I especially love to wash my sheets, pillow cases, and blankets with Gain and Gain fabric softener. I also love to use it on my pajamas. I get the best night's sleep the first day I do this. It's so relaxing to smell the wonderful scent of Gain as I drift peacefully to sleep. But of course I use Gain Ultra Island Fresh Fabric Softener on all of my laundry. Performance Gain Ultra Island Fresh Fabric Softener makes my clothes extra soft. My clothes look, feel, and smell amazing when I use this product. Scent The scent of Gain Ultra Island Fresh Fabric Softener is one of my favorite scents. It just smells amazing. It is so fresh and clean smelling.

Love Gain washing powder, so was very excited to see this fabric softner out there, too. I have used it several times and I must say that it is one of my favorites out there. It smells amazing. The Island Fresh scent takes you away to an exctoic island far away! And, this amazing smell stays on your clothes for many days after it has been washed. Simply add a capful to the final cycle and your clothes are instantly soft and smelling great. I pair it with Gain detergent and love the results. The fabric softener liquid is very easy to use, and one bottle lasts for quite some time. It is reasonably priced for all budgets, and certainly removes static cling from all of your pieces of clothing. After you put it in the machine you are done, and have nothing more to do expect throw the clothes in the dryer. No messy sheets to worry about! Great product from Gain, and one that I recommend you use if you want soft clothing!

This fabric softener is wonderful. I am usually partial to using Downy fabric softeners, but I was definitely sold when I tried this brand. I started using Gain laundry detergent recently, because I wanted to try something new. I started using their fabric softener because I really liked the detergent. Gain makes a fabric softener that gets my clothes soft. Also, this product helps the static cling I sometime experience in my clothes. That brings me to the scent. The scent of this fabric softener is wonderful. I do not know how Gain puts their scent in the product, but it always makes my clothes smell amazing. I can smell the scent on my clothes even after they have been in my dresser for days. I really believe that Gain makes a superior product and even though it costs a little more than the other detergent I used to use, I am willing to pay the extra money for a product that is wonderful. I would recommend this product for anyone who is on the hunt for a fabric softener that really works. Gain will not disappoint you.

I would first like to mention that this fabric softener is works excellently on providing extremely soft and comfortable clothes straight out of the wash. When the two little ones were even littler, we would use a bunch of fabric softeners to make sure that the clothes wouldn't irritate their sensitive skin. We found that Gain worked the best and tried this exact brand and scent. On the downside, the smell of the Island Fresh scent did not appeal to me. I usually very much enjoy tropical scents like pineapple and mango, but for some reason, the bottle that we got did not smell pleasant. Perhaps it was a defective batch that we chose from or my own personal preference, but the smell bothered me so much that we only bought one bottle of this particular scent. Thankfully, the kids didn't seem to mind it as much, but I couldn't stand it. However, it has great softener power. Gain has never let us down.

If you have ever seen any of **Gain's** more recent commercials, you've probably watched some ordinary person unscrewing a cap of detergent, or even taking out their laundry and an invisible yet apparently invigorating breath of wind sweeps right past them as they inhale all that lovely **Gain** goodness. And the great thing is, those commercials aren't really far from the truth. Opening up a bottle of **Gain Island Fresh** fabric softener is nothing short of delightful. It's a simply beautiful, refreshingly addictive scent of tropical goodness - a perfume which instantly takes you away to some hidden paradise, with vivid coral and gold sunsets, deep azure blue skies, and sparkling ocean waters the color of aquamarine that seem to go on forever. Plus, clothes not only come out smelling like the quintessential summer's day, they are as soft and warm as a gentle summer's breeze, and it *lasts*. With an affordable price tag, I can't seriously find anything wrong with this delightful product. A little bit of **Gain** goes a very long way in turning a pile of stale, stinky, limp laundry into a cloud of sweet bundles of freshness. Simply add into the rinse cycle and just let it work its magic - the scent just envelopes your clothes and even the most rough fabrics in your laundry load will come out feeling as tender as a cashmere sweater. Non-irritating and gentle on colors and most fabrics, this is great for anything and literally everything. I have yet to find another fabric softener that works so amazingly well at getting **and** keeping my clothes fresh and soft without using half-the-bottle to achieve similar results. A small, 70-load bottle can last a pretty good amount of time, and used with the matching detergent in the same scent, it only heightens the experience. The bottle is designed similarly to **Downy**, so its lightweight with an easy-to-carry handle and a well-marked cap for dispensing the liquid. This is not a mess-prone bottle, so I don't have to worry about spilling or leaking or even some foaming around the rim of the cap (has happened before with other brands). Because this is concentrated, you need only a small to moderate dosage, leaving you a lot more product for a much, much longer period of time. The unique scent is certainly a draw for those of us who like clothes that smell good but not generic - this does not have your ordinary 'laundry' smell. This is my new, absolute favorite, and that's a lot coming from me. Performance This stuff really does what a fabric softener should do - soften clothes enough that they are comfortable to wear but not limp and pathetic by the time they have dried, with a noticeable fragrance that is strong enough you can still smell it after drying, but without choking you to death. Being concentrated, a little bit of detergent goes a very, very long way, so this lasts quite a while. Scent The scent. The SCENT. I have yet to smell anything else in the laundry aisle that's quite as beautiful as the 'Island Fresh' smell. That sweet, tangy citrus heart that's Gain's signature is superbly blended with exotic white flowers, like gardenias, jasmine, and tuberose, with sensual undertones of haunting neroli, and a very light but soothing base of rich greens and sweet fruits like mango and kiwi that envelope your clothes with the beauty and freshness of the most perfect summer's day. It's not your typical tropical-themed detergent smell, and that's what I love.
