We have owned the Giggia Carezza Espresso Machine for about four years.  It has consistently pulled wonderful shots and provides us daily with our coffee fix.  We shopped around before we bought it and chose this one because of it's great reviews and exceptional price.  It has not dissapointed us.  The portafilter is nice and sturdy.  It steams milk nicely and makes it very hot although it can take a bit of time to do this.  The controls are very simple and nicely laid out making it easy to use.  Although the exterior isn't metal as the more pricey versions are, it still looks cool and works well with our stainless steel appliances.   When we purchased this machine, we read through the manual and watched the dvd it came with.  I would highly recommend this if you want to use this machine to it's full potential.  We also regularly clean it with a product such as Puro Caff which I also highly recommend to keep it running smoothly.
