GVP (Generic Value Products TM from Sally Beauty Supply ) Flat Iron Reviews

I think I tried every brand of flat irons I could find in the reasonably priced range from stores such as Walmart and Kmart and could never find one to do a good job. A friend brought hers with her to my house one day and I tried it and fell in love. On the box it says "Compare to CHI". I just can't afford a CHI.

I recieved the Generic Value Product flat iron as a gift that was purchased from Sally Beauty Supply.  I already had a Hot Tools flat iron and this one works much better.  The GVP flat iron is basically the same product as the Farouk Chi, with a different name. This iron has been the only one that could straighten my thick hair and keep it straight for two days or more.  It actually conditions as it straightens, so the hair looks even shinier.  It gets a lot hotter than average irons, so one must be careful and work quickly.  Set it at a lower temp for finer hair, and do not hold it on the hair or it will put a stubborn crimp there! It also heats up quickly and is very easy to use, very lightweight and effective.

The GVP flat iron is amazing it works just as good as the CHI. Its at Sally's Beauty Supplies and cost about three times less than the CHI. It make my hair look and feel healthier shiny, and its more manageable.

This is the best $70 I have ever spent on hair care. Do not waste money on a cheap flat iron. This ION is available at Sally's Beauty. It's amazing, makes my hair feel soft and silky. I love this product.

Now I only saw the picture small but I don't know much of it's voltage and how much heat can it actually retain. The GVP might be a great product but it does not have much information about the product.

After going to a beauty shop to have my hair restyled almost 2 years ago it was suggested by my hair stylist to try a flat iron. This is one of the best flat irons you can bye. It is wholesome in its value bye it will be the best thing you have ever done. It is not a wet to dry though that is one of its flaws. Don't straighten it when your hair is wet you will burn it .  I burnt my bangs with it because I straightened it when it was wet don't make the same mistake. I overall think you should have because it heats easily the highest tempter is 450 it is also digital. When you straiten it goes easily over your hair. I feel this is a good product for a good price. The first flat iron I bought was a Chi and while it was fabulous it was very, very, expensive. When it finally "died" I didn't want to spend that much on one again so I bought at least two others at the local drugstores thinking I could save money. the generic value products flat iron is amazing, it has been compared to the chi, but it is cheaper, so if you have a sallys beauty supply store near you, you have to get it ! i have been thru alot of flat irons thru the years and this is the beat on i have owned.

the gvp has an on and off button along with temperture control button that goes from 140-410 degrees. im a busy mom and dont have alot time for myself, the gvp flattens your hair quickly. My husband caught on and decided to get me one as a gift...but in doing so decided to make the decision of which one to purchase. Guys don't have a clue as to what is a "good" brand. I absolutely love my pink camo flat iron. It goes up to about 475 degrees. The flat iron heats up fast and straightens throughly. Every since I have bought my flat iron I have adored it. I use my flat iron to flip, straighten, and curl my hair. This flat iron does wonders. At first I only bought it because it was pink and pink is my favorite color.
