While it is nearly impossible to feel a difference with calcium, bone measurements can tell a different story. I do not have those results, but based on the science, it should be slightly improved. So many products on the market today contain calcium carbonate, which is not digested well. By contrast, this GNC Calcimate Plus 800 Dietary Supplement uses calcium calcimate which is supposed to be pretty well absorbed. The pills are big, but not horse pills and they do go down pretty easy. I usually took two a day which seemed plenty to me. It also has vitamin D which is helpful as I have read that some studies have shown an improvement in bone density with vitamin d alone. GNC is typically high price wise, but sometimes you can catch a good deal and if it is on sale this is definitely worth getting. I also would say get the biggest size because it is more economical and being calcium, lasts a long time.
