Most HelpfulSure this company seems to give good rates but you need to do your homework on them. Seems like they may be having some problems. They have been down grading by the rating system that rates insurance companies and banks-AM BEST and it says their outlook is lnegative and my friend works for an agency that used to sell GMAC insurance and my friend said they are having problems getting their commissions. If they aren't going to pay the agents they aren't going to pay your claim either. They also got 5 billion from the government in December 2008 and still got downgraded.
I am so tired of paying so much for car insurance. I feel like I am throwing money away. I recently checked into getting new car insurance and called my local AAA to get some quotes. He got back to me with a quote from GMAC that was less than half of what I was paying. I have 3 drivers(one teenager) and three vehicles on my insurance and I couldn't believe the quoted price I was hearing. I didn't think it was possible. The price is better than Geico or Progressive or Nationwide. The claim service is phenomenol. I had to have a window replaced on my van and they had someone in the parking lot at my office within 2 hours. I have talked with my customers and this is typical. They didn't give me special consideration because of where I work.
