GMAC Insurance —
I had GMAC for about 18 months and the only reason I no longer have them is because they don't service my state. However, they were fantastic! Their claims department was thorough and quick to respond to any and all inquiries after my accident. I had a bit of bad luck and had to file 2 claims with the company. The second was a car theft and I was able to get a fair appraisal of my old car, allowing me to pay that one off with enough money to get a new one. They also processed everything speedily, and I had my claim check within a few weeks of filing. Customer service was excellent. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. After the accident, they sent someone to my house at my convenience to go over all the details. That was very nice. Overall, they were great. They offered me rental insurance for my apartment at a very affordable rate. I couldn't have asked for a better insurance company.
