GE Refrigerator/Freezer Review

We built our house in April 2006 and had a GE refrigerator put in by the builder. It is a very basic model even though it was not that cheap. The only perk is that is has an ice maker. But, the ice maker is extremely loud. You can hear the line running in the middle of the night, so much so that it often wakes me up. We also have had some problems with the temperature. It seems to vary, which is odd. Sometimes, 5 is fine for the freezer, and then other times stuff is frozen beyond belief and other times ice cream is soft. It seems so hard to believe because we don't move the temperature gauge. As far as space, it is just fine. We have a family of five and constantly have it brimming with items. A gallon of milk fits in the door, which is convenient. But, the shelves are not easily moved, so sometimes, large items need to be place on their side because there is only really one spot to put them on the right-hand bottom side. But, regardless, it is basic and functional, which is fine for now.
