GE Washer Review

Very disappointed in this product.  Paid $400 for this thing, thought at the time we bought a half way decent washing machine, especially sent GE has been around awhile, well I guess we were wrong.  Just after the warranty ran out, we can't get just cold water out of it, we have to watch that the warm water doesn't turn to just HOT mid fill and now the on button (which is attached to the main board, of all things is PLASTIC)  I had a service man take a look at it and the main board alone is over $200, he told me that it would be a waste of money to fix this machine, that I would be throwing good money after bad machine.  By the time I pay for the part, (main board) and the labor plus a service call, I can almost go out and purchase a new one, that again would be under warranty.  So, I'm gonna wait awhile, then replace it, if I don't shoot it first.  But I know that I will NEVER buy a GE washing machine again!!!!!!!  The last one we had was a Sears, for over 20 years, I don't know why we changed.  When you find a product that works, I guess if we've learned nothing else, you should stick to it.!!!!!!!!!!!!
