GE WBVH5200JWW Front Load Washer Review

Wow!  Can I say anything nice about our GE front loading washing machine experience?  Probably not.  With in one year the front rubber gasket seal broke, not sure how that happened. So we had major leaking isues.  It was not covered by the warranty and the seal, a piece of rubber cost around 120-130.00.  Then we would have to reinstall it ourselves, which who wants to worry about installing it right but then you can't afford to hae someone do it.  So we dealt with it the best we could.  With in a few mos after that, we started having door locking issues which then screwed up our cycles.  So it would read that the door was still locked even tho it wasn't and so we had to wait up to 2 days for the washing machine to reboot itself and turn it off and then we could do another load.  Then about the same time, the washer decided to only spin the clothes completely sometimes.  Sometimes we had dripping clothes which again if the readout was reading the door was still locked we couldn't run a spin and drain cycle.  We had to ring the clothes out by hand or hang them outside till they somewhat dried to put into the dryer.  Then it moved on to actually not unlocking for us sometimes and we had to play with it to get it to unlock.  Then it stopped spinning completely and then it just recently would turn on and spin once or twice for its initial start up, and then just turn off.  We had this washer maybe 2.5 yrs.  I have heard a lot of the same stories from others.  Not good when you spend that kind of money on a washer and then it doesn't last very long. 

DO NOT buy a GE front loading washer.
