I have had the GE Turntable Microwave for over 6 years and it is still going strong. It is easy to use and even easier to clean. And it still looks brand new after all this time. I don't have a lot of counter space and the microwave fits perfectly in my kitchen without making it look cluttered. It is a basic microwave with a few specialty function buttons. But that is really all you need. I do use this microwave on a daily basis to warm up food. My husband likes to joke around that I cook with our microwave. I have gotten better at cooking and now just use the microwave to heat up leftovers. However, I have made a few dishes with it. The microwave easily heats up frozen vegetables and then I put slices of cheese on top of it. In a few minutes, you have vegetables and melted cheese. Also, the microwave is good to warm up frozen food such as chicken pot pies to cut down on oven time and then to put them in the oven to give them a toasted crust. This is a wonderful microwave that will last for years to come. General Electric is a quality and trustworthy company so you know you are getting a great product.

Based on price economy and features we bought this one for our home. When we got this microwave, we trusted the brand GE since this is one appliance that finds its use multiple ties in a day. It's fast and it is nice. It is big enough to hold my average and little bigger-sized casserole dishes. I can cook rice, do most of my instant recipes with it quickly. Movie-time popcorns that usually took 4 minutes to pop in my old one now gets ready in less than 2minutes. The concept of motorized turntable ensures even/consistent heating. The 30-second button and reheat button is a great idea. You can punch the time initially and may add time later on. Overall it is easy to use/operate. Noise is something that i really don't appreciate about it. Also cleaning it is a little bit tricky as you got to be very careful because of it's design. The beverage feature is spot-on but it makes my coffee/milk hotter than what I sip. In two years, there have been two instances when the Push to Open button got jammed and worked only after I pressed it hard more than 2-3 times making me worried. No repair issues so far. I'm satisfied with this but still would be looking for a change in few years.

It is very easy to use and it was a good price.  You can select time and punch in the numbers if you want to use seconds or a specific time.  If you need just need an even minute you can just press 1 or 2, etc and will cook for one minute or 2 minutes, etc.  It heats pretty good.  Compared to previous microwaves I think you don't need as much time to heat things up.  It's not real big and doesn't take up much space.  My complaint is the door.  You have to push a button to open the door.  After about a year of owning it the door latch is shot and sometimes you have to push the button a number of times to get it to open or you have to use two hands.  Typically you are holding the food you want to heat up in one had so you don't have two free hands to use.  And setting down you food to use two hands is very irritating.  The point of it is to be fast.  But this can be just a fluke that we got a bad one.  It still works and we still use it.  It has not been annoying enough for me to replace yet.  My mother has the same model and hers works great.  She's even had hers longer than me.
