I love the finish on this refrigerator. It looks like stainless but it isn't so it doesn't get all full of fingerprints and it's super easy to clean. I also really like the traditional top freezer as it's easier to organize without a lot of stuff getting lost in the bottom. The fridge itself has adjustable shelves and plenty of space for my family of six. Ease of Cleaning The shelves are very easy to take out and clean and there are curves at the back to help prevent spills from getting all over the whole interior.

The glass shelves inside are adjustable and easy to use . lots of space for all size of containers . good deal for good price .The handles are nice I can open the door without hurting myself. I love my fridge! It is spacious and of great quality. Great appliance so far. Ice maker is a little noisy however it's my first ice maker. I love the ease of cleaning and the great space. This refrigerator is just awful. Its actually quite disgusting what they will let you buy these days. The fridge spoils your food very quickly. The freezer only goes down to about 30 degrees fahrenheit which isn't very cold for trying to keep your ice cream cold. I think that they should give these to the homeless to live in because thats about what they're worth. They are absolutely terrible in design. The food will fall out when you open it all of the time. Its just a terrible device and should not I repeat SHOULD NOT be in your home EVER! Noise Level The fridge literally keeps me up at night. Thats how loud it is. I just moved into my apartment and this was the fridge that the previous owners had. Since my all of my things have not arrived yet since I moved to a different state, i have to sleep on the couch since the owners had taken their bed. And the living room is right next to the kitchen and thats all that I hear at night when I'm trying to sleep.

Does what it needs to do, nothing over the top or fancy. Perfect. Easy delivery. We put it right into our kitchen with ease and very quickly. Incredibly easy to install and hook up to power. Freezer is a bit small, but holds enough for family. Very easy to clean. Shelves are easily wipeable and can be cleaned as easy as with a Lysol wipe or a wet cloth. It's very quiet. You can hear it when it kicks on but aside from that its very very quiet and you cannot tell it's running. Very good coolant difference between freezer and refrigerator.

This is a great fridge. It keeps my food cold and my frozen food frozen. It has a light inside that works. There isnt freezerburn on my food and my fridges food doesnt go bad. It has drawers and shelves so I can put thongs on them. They dont fall off. The handles are nice I can open the door without hurting myself. When I open the door the light comes on. I have had the refrigerator for 8 years and it is a winner! When I was looking for lower priced models this one stood out and was one of the best prices. I was able to purchase matching pieces such as the dishwasher, range, and the over the range microwave that vents. Noise Level This is almost a silent refrigerator. I do not hear the fan and clunking noises that I have heard with refrigerators I have has in the past. Interior Organization I wish it had a few more door shelve options. I wish that it also has more drawers. The shelves would be better if the slid out for ease of use. Temperature Control There are two controls inside the refrigerator. On is for the freezer and one is for the refrigerator. The two lowest drawers also have slide controls for the crisper. They are all clearly labeled to ensure and assist you in setting the controls at the proper setting. Ease of Cleaning The shelves all come out for ease of cleaning. The shelves would be better if they slide out for ease of cleaning. Having to remove takes more time when you are doing just a quick wipe down of the inside. Durability I have had this refrigerator for over 8 years and have not had any issues with it as far as the running of it. I clean the fan area in the back of it and also the underneath at least once a year. I had to purchase a special brush to really get the underneath clean. It is also not hard to move the refrigerator to get behind it. Design I love the stainless steel but wish that the door was able to hold magnets and was not so easily scratched. I also wish that the sides were stainless as well, as I have to place it with one side showing in my kitchen and it is black, which stands out. Stainless on the side would look so much better.

Noise Level Very quiet compared to refrigerators I have had in past forty years. Interior Organization This refrigerator is normal for a top freezer/bottom refrigerator type unit. The fact there are so many adjustment heights for shelves, is a good thing. Temperature Control The temperature controls work well to ensure the food in the refrigerator does not get ice burn. In addition, a setting of 4-5 for both refrigerator and freezer seem to keep food at desirable temperatures. Of course in summer, the adjustments may have to be set up higher to 5-6. Ease of Cleaning The General Electric refrigerator has shelves that easily remove for proper cleaning. Durability So far the refrigerator has been a good runner. Design There are two things concerning the refrigerator that need to be mentioned. One is good, the other...not so good. The good news first: the back of the unit is covered. This means there are no tubes, or other such mechanical clutter protruding from the back, and there is no dust build-up. The feature we do not care for is the design and placement of the upper/lower door handles. My husband and I have both hit our heads while bending back up after retrieving items from the refrigerator. This is because a person has to bend down very far to access the refrigerator. It is like trying to pop your head back out of a cave, and the upper freezer door handle is an obstacle...and quit heavy! These handles could easily be located in a position that would not be hazardous to consumers.

We remodeled after 25 years and decided on replacing all major appliances with GE Clean Steel units (Clean Steel surfaces show no fingerprints). This Fridge surface and handles match our GE Gas Range and GE Over-the-Range Microwave surfaces and handles. The whole kitchen is coordinated. Our GE Dishwasher is also Clean Steel. Unlike regular stainless steel surfaces, Clean Steel surfaces hold magnetized objects. I have a beautiful magnetic mural covering my GE Dishwasher Clean Steel door. I have a small kitchen and couldn't fit a larger Fridge in it so this GE Fridge fit the spot. Our old 21 cu.ft. is in the garage so I have plenty of room using two refrigerators and the energy ratings are very efficient on both of them. I don't like icemakers taking away room in the freezer so we ordered ours without one. My hubby is the only one who uses ice and he's fine with trading out our three enclosed Tubberware ice trays for his summer beverages. He doesn't like huge cumbersome icemakers taking away food space in the freezer either. The glass shelves were easy to install, easy to clean, easy to move around as needed. I don't know why all the new Fridges have such little produce bins but there's not much choice for the Fridge size we had to fit in our kitchen. We keep our extra produce stored in the garage Fridge. We keep all our cartons on the long GE Fridge door shelves. I like that the door shelves run the whole length of the door without dividers taking away space. Also, the shelves are closed and not open at the bottom so little things don't slide out of the shelves. My old Whirlpool in the garage has divided shelves and doesn't hold as much as my new GE door shelves. The GE door only has one closed butter bin but that's okay because it allows the shelf below to hold taller beverage containers where there is no bin above it. I never really needed two closed bins in the old Fridge. Love that my Clean Steel doors don't show fingerprints. My daughter has another brand stainless steel Fridge and she goes nuts cleaning fingerprints all the time! I use a dry paper towel or a light soapy dishcloth to clean the Fridge exterior. I love that the sides of the Fridge are a textured, easy-to-clean black color. The door fronts are in Clean Steel. Like ANY major appliance brand, exterior surfaces can be damaged if you're not careful. Don't use abrasive cleaners. At first our GE Fridge sounded noisy when it was running, but after the kitchen cabinets and window blinds were installed, the sound was absorbed and subtler. Noise Level Has about the same noise level as my 6-year-old refrigerator in the garage. Interior Organization For an average sized refrigerator it has decent organization. There is a bulge at the back of the refrigerator's top shelf area that is annoying and not found in my other different brand 6-year-old refrigerator in the garage. The designed bulge takes space away from my top shelf area. Anyway, the adjustable shelves and deli bin are a plus feature for me. Temperature Control The crisper area does a great job of not freezing up my veggies like my other refrigerator keeps doing even after adjusting settings. Ease of Cleaning Exterior is easy to clean. Interior is always a chore in any refrigerator. Durability Have to be careful of the clean steel veneer film surface to not nick it. As with any appliance, any surface can be damaged no matter what kind of finish it has. Since I've only had the refrigerator for a year, I cannot attest to its longevity OR durability until I've owned it for at least 3 or 4 years. Design The design is a simple freezer-above model and coordinates with the other matching GE appliances in my compact new kitchen. Nothing fancy but everything is coordinated and new.

I love this fridge! My home is more modern and so it looks sleek and sophisticated without being too pricey. I love that it is a simple design with no ice maker to breakdown on you every five seconds. This thing is a breeze to clean and I am kind of OCD about a clean fridge so this is awesome! I find that the temperature is easy to control and the lightbulb is easy to replace when it goes out, nobody likes it when the fridge goes dark! I have had this fridge for 3 years and it has been a great appliance that serves all my needs. There is plenty of space inside this fridge and it fits a lot in the side doors as well. The freezer is a little smaller than I would like but really that would be my only complaint, I love this refridgerator!
