GE Super Capacity Electric Dryer Review

Where do I start about GE's Large Capacity Dryer. Well, I thought it was useful for me being so large inside to hold more clothing, but I was wrong. While, it does hold quite a bit of clothing loads, it just is not capable of handling a large dryer load in a regular cycle. I tested it actually and put a larger than normal load in it and it took longer to dry it. Plus, within one month we had a power surge in our neighborhood and the thermostat went out in it. It was brand new and we only used it twice a week! I was very disappointed in the fact that it already had issues with it in that short amount of time. We did call customer service and they did send someone out to replace the part, but now it has me wondering when is the next time it will go out like this. The part they replaced was over $50. So, I am now thinking of selling this brand new dryer and getting a different brand altogether. GE makes some great appliances and maybe they are not for me and my family.
