GE Soft White Spiral T3 16254 —

My Dad was always big in lowing his electric bill and back then they had little sicks that you put in before you put your light bulbs in.  They would take a 60 watt light bulb and dim it down to a 30...we had the worst reading lights in town.  We would sneak them out when Dad wasn't looking just to see.

How times have changed. We have been switching over to the new GE bulbs and I like that they last longer and they are't dim and we can see.

My landlord put in Broadway lighting in the bathroom and those big round bulbs went out all the time and ran about the same amount as the GE does.  I was lucky if they lasted a month or two.  Since I changed to GE spiral light bulbs I haven't changed them since I put them in last spring.

So far the smallest wattage I have found was 60W and with six of those in the bathroom is a very bright morning.

I have noticed my electric bill down with these bulbs and that makes me happy...I have Dad using them too now and he is shocked something so bright  saves money.

Nicely done. These bulbs do make a difference.
