Great green, eco-concious lighting alternative

neat freak, budget conscious, a green thumb
Pros

    Uses less energy, lasts longer, saves us money

Cons
    poor lighting color quality, disposal is a hassle- toxic material!, not good for hanging lights

I purchased several of these lightbulbs in an attempt to 'make the switch' to an alternate source of lighting that helps the environment, saves money and is energy concious.  I was not overly impressed with the color of the lighting and do not like the cumbersome manner in which it needs to be disposed of once the light has burned out.  I believe there are better alternatives to CFL's that offer more realisic lighting coloration and are not a hazard to dispose of...nonetheless, bravo to all those folks making a change for the better by seeking out this type of lighting energy source!
