Pros

    Uses less energy, Cost is starting to come down, lasts longer, saves us money

It took me a while before I came on board with these.  The cost put me off for quite a while.  Then, I bit the bullet.  Fool that I am!!!  Why didn't I do it sooner?  I am already noticing the difference in my electric costs (even after a rate increase) and I am really glad that I can see the difference.  It will take a while longer to complete the change over to all energy efficient bulbs but I would tell anyone to do just as I have done.  I am on a fixed budget and every little bit helps.  There is absolutely no difference in the lighting with these and the old standard bulbs.  Thanks, GE.
