We had always wanted a side-by-side refrigerator and this GE model hasn't disappointed us. Noise Level The ice making during the day and in the middle of the night can be loud if you sleep close to the kitchen. Otherwise, I don't notice it. Sometimes the motor running can be a little loud. Interior Organization Many of the shelves are adjustable. I can fit so much in the fridge side of things. The freezer is smaller than I'd like but we also have a deep freeze in the garage so it's not a big deal. Temperature Control We have yet to figure the "optimal" temperature. If you let stuff in the back it will sometimes freeze and sometimes things in the freezer will have freezer burn. Ease of Cleaning Easiest fridge in this regard. Stuff comes out very easily to wash. The shelves can be too big for our sink but easy to lay out and clean the whole thing. There isn't a spot that you can't get to which makes me happy after some sticky spills the kids make. Durability Our kids can be very hard on appliances, but so far this one is doing great. Design Make sure that your food isn't near the sides where you see a small hole or slats. This is the temperature guage and if you cover up that your food can suddenly get way too warm. Also, if you try to open the door during it's sealing process you simply can't. You have to wait a second and try again.

MY GE Side by Side Refrigerator is great. Storage bins are easy to use. Shelves are wasy to clean. I can see all the food in this refrigerator. I like the freezer on the side. Many shelves, each for different items.
