GE Dishwasher Quiet Power 3 Review

I purchased the GE Quiet Power 3 dishwasher in Oct. 2007.  I hate it.  The top rack is extremely hard to push in and pull out even when empty.  I had three service calls by January 2008 just to get it manageable.  Now the rack is hard to push in and pull out again.  I have another call in for service.  I am a little disheartened that this is a repeat issue.  I just bought new plates and bowls and some really nice glass glasses.  (I'm a mother of four - we've been using plastic for years.  You know what I am talking about.)  The rack issue has caused my pretty dishes to break.  (I should mention that before the dishes broke, they did get clean, but I don't have much use for clean, broken dishes.  Do you?)  I don't think the dishwasher is that quiet either.

When I finally get around to replacing this piece of junk, I am going back to Whirlpool.  I had a GREAT dishwasher at my last place that was VERY quiet, VERY easy to load, got the dishes VERY clean, and was under $400.  You can't beat that.
