GE Quiet Power 1 Dishwasher Reviews

This dishwasher is not worth the money!  We picked this dishwasher for three reasons = the first was its relatively inexpensive pricetag - at just over $400 it was a good buy.  We also liked the "energystar" rating and thought that it would save us money in energy costs - our family has also become more energy conscious in general the past year and we felt that it would also be beneficial for our "green" concerns.  The third reason we purchased this appliance was that GE is one of those brands we have associated with high quality appliances.  Now, just over a year after purchasing this...

I REALLY WISH I HAD NOT GOTTEN RID OF MY OLD MAYTAG DISHWASHER!

THE ONLY REASON I DID WAS BECAUSE I REMODLED MY KITCHEN

AND CHANGED FROM BLACK AND WHITE TO STAINLES STEEL. THIS GE IS LOUD,

THE RACK IS HARD TO STAY ON THE TRACK, HARD TO SLIDE. IT DOES NOT HAVE THE CLEANING POWER THAT MY MAYTAG HAD.  IT TAKES ONE HOUR TO DO A LOAD OF DISHES. I WILL NEVER BUY A GE AGAIN. THE BASKET DOES NOT FIT RIGHT. I BOUGHT IT FROM APPLIANCE FACTORY IT WAS REFURBISHED IT WAS THE SECOND ONE THE FIRST DID NOT WORK AT ALL.
