GE Profile WPRE6100G Top Load Washer Review

We purchased this machine about 3 months ago when our previous GE machine motor pooped out after 5 years of serious and steady usage.

This washing machine is so quiet for the most part.  I had to go back and check and make sure it was actually running as it went through the wash cycle.  If you put your ear down to it you can hear it agitating.  When it gets ready to spin it sounds like a very quiet jet getting ready to take off.  It washes well and holds a good amount of clothes including my king size quilt without problems.  It does sound off balance each time I put in a full load of towels, but it recovers itself without needing my attention.

All in all, a workhorse machine without bells and whistles.
