This is a good product by reliable company GE- General Electric. The cooling system in both sections is excellent. The refrigerator has small footprint as compared to the large interior storage space. All the interiors are well organised. It has good very useful ice maker. General Electric has come out with a most reasonably and attractively priced product. Its features are most desirable. The fridge come in attractive color. All the shelves are adequate and sufficient. General Electric has fitted a good compressor for super fast cooling. It has lower energy consumption as compared to other brands and models. It would be nice to have a third compartment for long term storage uses. It has very low noise level. The fridge is almost humming. The product is very nicely designed by the able engineers at General Electric. Good temperature control system. The refrigerator is easily cleanable. GO FOR IT.

I like this refrigerator very much. Nice look and plenty of room inside. Surface is very hard to keep clean. Even after cleaning there are streaks on the surface that are hard to remove. Noise Level Very quiet. The only noise is you can barely hear when the ice maker is filling up. Interior Organization Adjustable shelves for customized organization Temperature Control Bottom drawer freezes vegetables and it is hard to control. No matter how much we turn the control on the bottom drawer it still freezes certain items. Ease of Cleaning The inside is very easy to clean. Easy to reach all areas. The outside is hard to keep fingerprints and streaks off the surface. No matter how much I clean the streaks still appear. I use a stainless steel surface cleaner and it still has streaks. When water drips from the water dispenser in the door it leaves streaks also. Durability So far the appliance has held up perfectly. I hope it lasts for years. We shall see. Design The design is sleek and very nice. Matches our GE microwave/oven wall unit very well.

This refrigerator has some good points, but lots of negatives as well. Very loud, runs frequently (the ice maker and the fan). Not built for a household with small-medium children, and the water tray is incredibly chintzy. Noise Level The fan/ice maker runs. And runs. And runs. No matter how often we clean the vent or how carefully we arrange the contents inside, the freezer and fridge are very noisy on a very consistent basis. Interior Organization Love this aspect of it, very well planned out and we love having gallons of milk stored in the door, for easy reach. Temperature Control Never played around with this. Ease of Cleaning The shelves all pull out, which is a huge convenience. However, the door has to open beyond a 90-degree angle, and as ours is a tight squeeze, this presents problems and creates difficulties. Durability Our kids have stepped on the crisper front, attempting to get at items out of reach, which is their/our fault, but the drawer front is jiggly now, and didn't feel very solid to begin with. The latch/button things that lock the shelves into place have broken during the regular course of removing them to clean the shelves. Design Overall decent. Only complaint is that the tray below the water dispenser is plastic. Painted metallic silver, but plastic. With a large family, we use this feature a lot, and the tray looks just awful. No amount of products or scrubbing will make it look nice again. Pulling the tray out to clean, there is often water in the reservoir beneath the tray as well.

WE love our refrigerator/freezer by GE. It keeps everything cold and frozen like it is supposed to. We have had no problems with it except having to take the ice cube carrier out every once in a while cause the ice maker gets stuck once in a while but, if that is the only thing that goes wrong, I am very lucky. We took out the extended warranty but have not had to use any warranties as of yet. At the rate that we are going, I do not think we will need the extended warranty but it is well worth it to have it...just in case. I highly recommend this refrigerator/freezer. Noise Level No noise except when the ice falls. Very quiet refrigerator. I do not think that we have ever owned a refrigerator that made any noise at all. Interior Organization Plenty of shelving...everything fits in this fridge. It amazes my husband everytime I come from the grocery store. He always tells me....you are never going to find a place for the cold items.....I surprise him everytime. There is ample space in this refrigerator/freezer. Temperature Control Everything stays at the correct temperature. Even the crisper works the way it is supposed to work. I have never had that before. I remember the last couple of refrigerators that I had....we always ended up with frozen celery.....not with this refrigerator....This refrigerator/freezer works like a dream. We made an excellent choice when we purchased this appliance. Ease of Cleaning No need for any harsh cleaners to clean this refrigerator/freezer. I use a microfiber cloth, some hot water and some Dawn dishwashing liquid. Very easy clean up. The draws come out very easily and go back in just as easy. Durability This refrigerator/freezer is so durable. I do not think a horse running into it could hurt this appliance. I have 2 large dogs and they start their rough housing in the kitchen when we are not in that room. I am sure that they have run into this fridge many a time....no dents or dings....no problems... Design This refrigerator is your normal side by side refrigerator/freezer. You can get ice cubes, crushed ice and cold water out the front door. Very convenient and energy saving. Why should I need to open the freezer when I want ice cubes.....no reason to with this freezer....I love it, love it, love it.

There are things that I like and things that I don't like about our GE Profile refrigerator. I love the space. I love the ice maker and water filter. I don't like that the temperature sometimes is not regulated correctly and freezes our food. The fridge is very loud when it is regulating the temperature. It can sound like a plane preparing to take off. Our fridge has a front door that pulls out. It's a cool place to put drinks without opening the door. It's energy efficient. The fridge is very deep. We can store an entire large pizza box. Noise Level It can be noisy, When adjusting the temperature the fridge sounds like a plane taking off. It is humming most of the time. One of my least favorite things is how noisy this refrigerator is. Interior Organization There is a lot of space. There's a door on the front that pulls open for access to a shelf in the front door. This is a great place to put drinks. Especially when we have a party. We can put beer here and keep it cool. You don't have to open the main door so it's energy efficient. Temperature Control The food sometimes freezes in the refrigerator section. I really dislike the temperature control. I cannot get it to the correct temperature without freezing the food that i put in the back. It's very disappointing to take out a bag of baby carrots and find that they are all frozen together. Ease of Cleaning The shelves and draws slide out for easy cleaning. This fridge is incredibly easy to clean. Every thing slides out so that you can get behind and under the draws and clean them well. Durability We've had the fridge for 9 years. It is still going strong. It has not broken down. The doors and shelves are very durable. Design This fridge has lots of space for food. There are many shelves and drawers. They all slide out so that you can adjust them and move them around to your liking. I like how deep the fridge is. I can fit an entire large pizza box inside of this fridge.

I purchased this GE refrigerator a couple of months ago. There is an LCD screen that allows you to control the temperature to a specific amount, with an recommended setting printed on the front. The fridge is fairly quiet at night except when it is making ice, you hear the ice cubes fall into the collection tray about every half hour (really not that loud unless you are sitting pretty close to it). Also, there are multiple settings for the ice as well as cold water.

We bought this product specifically because we wanted a refrigerator with a water dispenser. We took into account price, size and recommendations from friends and salespeople, and couldn't be happier with our purchase! It's an attractive fridge and the surface does not smudge which is a huge bonus. The interior is very spacious, both on the freezer and fridge side. The shelving can be adjusted to meet your needs and there are drawers for fruit and veggies and also for meat. The water dispenser works great and we have never had a problem with the ice dispenser. For the most part the fridge is noiseless, barely humming as it runs. The only downside is the sound of the ice machine which can be temporarily loud (less than ten seconds) as it makes new ice. Other great features that we love are the door alarm and light when using the water dispenser. Cleaning is easy, with the shelves and drawer easy to remove.

I love this fridge. It's very spacious and runs very well. This refrigerator is easy to clean. What I like most about it is the reduced level of noise. Actually, this criterion was one of the must-haves when I was shopping for refrigerators. My problem with the previous fridge (a different model and brand) was the noise, but his is very sleek. The temperature is also well-controlled throuout the fridge. Overall, a great product. I highly recommend it.
