GE Profile Refrigerator Review

We just got one of these in our home within the last year.  It is outwardly a beautiful appliance with it's stainless steel finish and sleek profile.  However, not the most well built appliance either.  We got the one with the water/ice machine in the door, which is great since we never had that in our old refrigerator.  But the ice machine is so loud.  I've heard other refrigerators with ice machines that are nowhere nearly as loud as the crashing noise ours makes.  It sounds like someone is dropping a bunch of items on the floor every time the ice dumps.  Ice machine also makes a popping noise like something is getting stuck when it tries to release the ice. We would up having to have a servicemen come out to repair the ice maker because it eventually stopped working all together.  He had to replace the ice maker AND the computer board on the back.  He told us that one thing went and caused the other to go as well.  We are not as satisfied as we thought we would be with this project.  But then again, nothing is made with quality anymore these days.
