GE Profile Refrigerator —
This GE Profile refrigerator is 4 years old. It cost over $1200.00. At 3 years, the memory board had to be replaced on the refrigerator (it kept heating up and then freezing the contents).The warranty had expired, of course. The cost was $300.00. Then one year later, the refrigerator began to beep, so the repair man replaced the memory board again. That was covered because the first memory board had a warranty, but we had to pay for labor. That cost $150.00. Then the electronic temperature control went within a week and the repair man had to come back and replace the temperature control and the front refrigerator panel. I will never but a GE Appliance again. I have purchased other GE appliances and have had nothing but trouble with them. This was the last straw!Last edited on Dec 16, 2008
