GE Profile Performance Review

I've had this oven for several years now. I wanted an oven with convection. I am a bit disappointed with my oven. For one, cakes bake unevenly. I think the temperature in not uniform throughout the oven. The gas pilots on top do not work well on low. High is fine, but not low to simmer. I don't like how you have to assemble the pieces that you have to put back together after cleaning the top. There are rings that go around each pilot and they are hard to find the exact spot they have to sit on. This could have been easily remedied by putting some kind of marker on the top of them. The grates are heavy and I do like that. Metal pots will etch them though. Like all self cleaning ovens, you have to manually clean around the door frame of the oven itself and the door. I like the computer pad features. It is easy to use and works well along with the oven lights. I made the mistake of buying black appliances. They show every speck of dust and every fingerprint. Lesson learned!! I love my warming drawer and the electric warming circle on the top of the oven. They work well and come in handy. This oven does have a lot of features. I just wish the few quirks it has could be remedied.
