If you think all microwave ovens are created equal, you do not own the GE Profile microwave . Although the GE is marketed as a microwave, it's a combination microwave/convection oven. Reviewers say they love this handy oven, because it's easy to use and cooks super fast. SamMoni says, "I am really thrilled with its performance. I didn't really need a new microwave, my old Sharp Carousel had done well for 16 years, but this baby just caught my eye. Stainless steel front and a black body. Chic and long and low. And big. Big enough for a 5lb sack of potatoes! I was giddy.
This baby is fantastic! I didn't know what I was missing with my old microwave. And I admit I was a bit of a snob about having an old microwave. I didn't need a popcorn button. I could wait 7 minutes for a frozen pot pie. Man was I wrong.

I purchased this microcwave at one home - when I moved I took it with me I love it so much. I then moved again and purchased the same microwave as I could not take it again. It is a great microwave, you can bake cookies in 5 minutes without heating up the kitchen.
Had this installed in the wall above my built in oven during a total kitchen remodel. Very easy to use. Love the Express. Cooks everything perfect by directions on the food labels.
Nice turntable and very easy to clean.. Bought the trim piece and it looks nice also. It is all stainless on the outside. Did have to have repairman come and clean fingerprints from the factory between the glass. No problem came right out and cleaned under warranty.
We have had this unit for about 5 months and I have no complaints with it. Granted, my wife is the primary user, but if she had a problem with it I'd have known VERY quickly.
The unit functions well. When it activates, a vent opens from the top....nice touch. It also looks sharp, which is another bonus.
It is pice of crap. I have owned one for 5 years and have had it gone out twice now costing $260.00 the first time. I am getting rid of it this time. The GE profile fridge and diswashers are equally bad . Just replace a dorr stop bracket on the fridge door. Dishwasher is very precarious. it woould come on sometimes but no others.
My office administration recently bought GE Profile Microwave oven for our cafeteria and I am really thrilled with its performance. Its so much better than the others! The food is ready in just seconds and it stays warm for long time too.
A true value for money. Definately going to buy one for my home too :)
