My GE Profile dishwasher is the worst dishwasher I have ever owned for its cleaning capability. My dishes are only clean because I take them out of the dishwasher and clean them by hand. I have ran a store bought product in it to help it and it did'nt help it at all. I ran vinegar thru it 3 or 4 times and that did'nt help either. I buy the more expensive automatic dishwash detergent ( Cascade Complete or the Cascade tabs of powder and liquid mix and sometimes the Cascade gel). Nothing works!! The only thing I like about the dishwasher is the digital read out of how much time a cycle has. Don't waste your money on this machine. If I have to buy a new dishwasher, I will purchase a much cheaper machine. More expensive does'nt always mean better. Mine is'nt that quiet either.

Where to begin? Ever since purchasing my GE Profile dishwasher, I have been a very happy woman!! Washing dishes by hand is so inconvenient nowadays. Plus, using a dishwasher keeps your hands out of the water for a longer period of time, which gives you less chance of dry, dishpan hands. What I like about my GE dishwasher is that I can lightly clean the dishes, throw them in, and while the dishes are being washes, I can get to cleaning something else. It's like killing two birds with one stone, in that you get more tasks completed in a shorter amount of time. This product also has an automatic soap dispenser and is very roomy inside. I love not having to fill the soap every time I use the dishwasher. I would definitely recommend this unit!!

When I built my current home, I picked the entire GE Profile like for my kitchen! Glad I did. This is one terrifc dishwasher. My only criteria for purchasing a dishwasher: I do NOT want to PRE-WASH my dishes before putting them into a dishwasher to be washed again! I do clean off all food from the dishes, but if I am going to hand wash my dishes, I'll hand wash them. So, I did some research on this before selecting this model for my home. I'm glad I did. I can leave my dishes in this machine for a week, turn it on, and have fresh, clean dishes when the cycle is finished! There are many settings of wash you can choose, from 'hand washing' to pots and pans. Each setting runs the entire cycle for different lengths of time. Th pots and pans cycle actually washes the dishes twice! Bonus: the glasses have never been spotted!!! I know this has a lot to do with the dishwashing soap I use, but it also has to do with the machne too! You will be very happy with this machine if you choose it!!!

This might sound funny, but this GE Profile Built-in Dishwasher is everything that I could have ever hoped for in a dishwasher. First of all, it has a nice look to it, sleek and stylish, which makes it a nice accent to my kitchen. The next thing I love about it is that it runs quietly and efficiently. I can start a load of dishes and still watch television in the next room without having to turn up the volume or listen to a noisy dishwasher. This is a major upgrade over my previous machine. Obviously the most important thing is that it does a great job of cleaning dishes and leaves them nearly spotless basically every time. There is a lot of space to load dishes, and the way the inside is set up makes it easy to load and not waste space.

We move a lot so I've had a lot of different dishwashers. But since I've discovered the GE Profile, I won't settle for anything else. If we buy a home with a different one, I purchase a Profile and install it instead. This latest one I have, the PDW7900N is the very best one I've ever owned. The cleaner is already built in & you only have to fill it every 5-6 weeks. The dishes and the pots come out sparkling clean, not a trace of food left on them. This one has a built in grinder so that foods on dirty plates & pots are ground away & never left as a residue. Top of the line quality machine.
