Most HelpfulWe moved from one condo to an identical condo a block away. The big difference is the appliances and I would definately say the GE Nautilus in our new home is worlds better than the Whirlpool built-in dishwasher in our previous home. I am able to "safely" pile a lot more glassware - wine glasses, juice...

Most HelpfulI wish we'd never gotten this GE Nautilus dishwasher. It never worked well and sounds like a 747 landing in the kitchen when it runs. Its so loud I can't run it at night without keeping people up! Also, from the get go it has left small food particles and black specks on the glasses washed on the...
read full review »We've had the GE Nautilus Dishwasher for almost 4 years. And what a disaster it is. First of all, while it boasts quiet function, it is so noisy that the kids can hear it running when they are upstairs! If we have company in the kitchen visiting...we literally have to turn it off or pause it so we can hear properly.
But the worst offense of all is the hazy film & dirt residue that it leaves on the dishes & cups! At this point - I am re-washing (by hand) the entire load atlesat 4 times a week! (one load a day). That's a bad track record. We thought it was the dish detergent so we have,...
read full review »We recently bought a new home with a GE Nautilus dishwasher installed. It has only been three weeks and I've done dishes several times with the machine. Every time I noticed this odor. Eventually, today, and thank goodness I was home, I smelled that odor across the house, upstairs, and two rooms down a hall. I followed the smell to the kitchen where I noticed smoke coming out of the dishwasher. I also noticed that toward the top near the lock mechanism it was melting and turning a yellowish-brown. I don't think that is normal. I immediately shut the noisy thing off (yes it is loud too, but right...
read full review »The GE Nautilus was the builder installed dishwasher when we purchased our new home. I didn't make a big deal about it because my last dishwasher wasn't a problem, but the st time we ran it, I said it had to go. It took 3 years, but finally - I can watch TV and run the dishwasher at the same time. It is a basic builder grade appliance. Yes, it's an inexpensive dishwasher, and it's also VERY loud. It did do a great job cleaning the dishes, but I notoriously would forget to run it when we went to bed and, the next morning, still dirty dishes.
The inside is small, but great for glasses and bottles....
read full review »We've had our Nautilus Dishwasher for 8 years. From day one it was noisy, but I was just glad to have a dishwasher (last house didn't have one). We have to turn it on when everyone goes to bed because you can't have a conversation with it on or watch tv in the other room. At first it cleaned well, however after a few years you could see a decline in the quality of cleaning. There is a film and sometimes haze on the glasses, plus it's not cleaning all the dishes and silverware properly. How gross when you go to take out the clean dishes to find food still on your forks. You almost have to clean...
read full review »The GE Nautilus dishwasher I own cleans well....is quiet....works very well....but......the bottom tray wants to fall into the bottom every time you slide it in or out. The wheels on the left side are just not right. Can't seem to adjust them or anything. Other than that.....it's been a great dishwasher. The previous tenant where I live now installed the dishwasher......he loved it also. His only complaint was that it did'nt rinse well enough. But personally....I think that was a dishwashing detergent problem....not the dishwasher itself. It would be nice if there were more options when it comes...

The big difference is the appliances and I would definately say the GE Nautilus in our new home is worlds better than the Whirlpool built-in dishwasher in our previous home. I am able to "safely" pile a lot more glassware - wine glasses, juice glasses, etc. into the top rack without worrying. There are compartments with lids that fit over the juice glasses and there are rack separaters that keep the tall glasses from falling over onto other items in the top rack. It is also quieter. The first time I used it, I came back to the kitchen...
read full review »GE Nautalis Dishwasher - I would never buy this dishwasher as you need to wash the dishes before you put them in or they won't come out clean even on the pots and pans cycle. The heated dry is now turned off as they are almost as dry with or without it.
