After my hot water heater broke less then two years after it was installed, I called out a contractor to repair. They were unable to get parts for unit locally as the only way to get parts was to call warranty line. After calling the warranty line, they decided they knew more then the experienced plumber at my residence and sent the wrong part. I waited 6 days for hot water because GE tired to diagnose over the phone and not listen to the technician. The contractor finally just called in and ordered the parts that were needed without going through the warranty department and not my unit is back up and running. I could understand the run around if it was me working on the unit, but a licensed plumber that's been working on units like this for over 20 years, shouldn't have this much of a hassle just to get hot water for a client. I will NEVER purchase another GE water heater and strongly encourage anyone to stay away from them. Yes they are readily available in Home Depot and now I know it wasn't an easier option in the long run. I'm very dissatisfied with GE.

The GE water heater keeps the water in my house nice and hot. Although at first, the temperature of the water did lose its heat if more than three people would shower consecutively, but after an hour or two, the warmth of the water would come back. It is kept near the furnace in the basement and is connected to the water supply throughout the whole house. Sometimes my father would have to turn it off to complete fixtures throughout the house, such as changing the pipes as well as fixing leaks around the house (in the kitchen as well as from the bathtub). The water heater is large as well, roughly about six feet and it is cylindrical and heavy as well as being usually a white color with instructions on connecting, turning on, and turning off the water heater. It connects to the other pipes throughout the house from there. I would definitely recommend this water heater for good circulation of water in any place.

I purchased the GE hot water heater when my old hot water heater broke.  The GE hot water heater was a little pricy but was the only one available that would fit in the location of the old water heater.  I installed the GE hot water heater with my father and it was very easy to do.  The instructions that were included were very easy to understand.  The GE hot water heater was very easy to set uf after installation.  Lighting the pilot was easy and setting the temperature was very easy.  Withing a very short period of time after the GE hot water heater was completely set up I had hot water.  The water also seems to stay hotter than my old hot water heater.  The water also heats up quicker than my old hot water heater.  I can have the kids all take their baths and I by the time I take my bath I will have hot water.  The GE hot water tank does come in various models and it can be in natural gas or electric.  The GE hot water tank also comes in various sizes.

I HAVE A GENERAL ELECTRIC HOT WATER HEATER THAT WE JUST INSTALLED UPON REMODELLING OF OUR HOME. IT HOLDS AN ENORMOUS AMOUNT OF WATER AND WE NEVER HAVE TO WAIT TO TAKE A BATH OR A SHOWER BECAUSE WE NEED TO WAIT FOR HOT WATER.
